Delicate Power examines the different ways we yield, share or exert power. The work asks: What does power look like without the need for dominance? Babe, an excerpt of Simoneau's evening-length work DARLING, explores vulnerability, intimacy, and how touch informs relationships within and outside of romance. The program will also feature a new duet. All works are choreographed by Helen Simoneau, a 2021 Guggenheim Fellow. Helen has been described as “a Choreographer-on-the-rise” with a style that is both “athletic and smooth” by Dance Magazine.
