FREE GOSPEL SUNDAYS featuring Jonathan McReynolds

Sunday, Dec 15, 2019   4:30 PM
Adrienne Arsht Center -- Miami, FL Jonathan McReynolds is a Dove Award-winning, two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated, Stellar Award-winning and Billboard Music Award-nominated gospel singer-songwriter. His music has been cheered on by music icons from Stevie Wonder, Nicki Minaj and Tori Kelly to gospel giants such as CeCe Winans, Yolanda Adams and Kirk Franklin, who dubbed McReynolds “the future of gospel music.”

His most recent album, 2018's Make Room, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel chart and garnered a historic 1.3 million streams in its first week of release. It has been hailed as his best work. In 2019, McReynolds received an NAACP Image Award nomination, two GRAMMY® nominations and earned eight Stellar Gospel Music Awards for the Make Room album.

Opening for McReynolds will be spoken-word artist and Florida native Nyah Hardmon. Nyah's spoken-word poetry talent blossomed in high school, where she competed in the statewide spoken-word slam Louder Than a Bomb Florida, and she has been acknowledged nationally by honors such as YoungArts and Presidential Scholars of the Arts.

Admission to FREE GOSPEL SUNDAYS is FREE! First-Access Passes, which give guests early access to general admission seating, can be reserved online or by calling the Adrienne Arsht Center Box Office. There is a 4 pass limit per guest. Visit here, to join the Arsht Center email list and be among the first to be notified when passes for this and other Free Gospel Sundays will be made available.

*Details about First-Access Passes and the Standby Line
Free Gospel Sundays is a very popular series and, occasionally, First-Access Passes are fully reserved. We do our best to accommodate all our guests in the standby line including those without a pass – and we usually can!

First-Access Passes do not guarantee admission. There is a 4 pass limit per guest. First-Access Passes give guests access to seats beginning one hour prior to curtain and seating is “first come, first admitted” for the performance. First-Access Passes expire 15 minutes prior to show time.

Guests without a First-Access Pass, and any Pass holders who arrive after 4:15 p.m., are invited to join the stand-by line beginning at 3:30 p.m. Guests in the stand-by line will be seated beginning at 4:15 p.m. - if seats are still available.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a variety of pre-show activities and giveaways before each performance.
