Ali Cultural Arts, Pompano Beach -- Pompano Beach, FL The purpose of this Cultural Arts Open House program is to introduce the Pompano Beach residents, especially the Northwest community, to the changes that are taking place within the city regarding the cultural arts. This will be the first of five events throughout the year on a bi-monthly basis, to introduce not only the staff and programming, but also to tour all five of the venues (Ali, BaCA, Cultural Center, Amphitheater and Ely).

The first meeting will focus on the creation of the new Cultural Affairs Department, introduce the staff of the department and existing and planned future programs. A PowerPoint presentation will be created to provide visuals and/or video of events that have already taken place.Following the presentation and open forum where the audience is asked to share their programming suggestions. (Tentative - if we determine there is adequate time, we will arrange with Parks & Recreation to have a bus transport patrons to see the current exhibition at Bailey Contemporary Arts).

6pm-6:30pm – Reception Meet and Greet- Light Refreshments/Entertainment
6:35pm-7:05pm – Meet the City Of Pompano Beach Cultural Arts Affairs Team- Introduce Ourselves and Goals etc.
7:06pm-7:30pm- Program Registration; Email Mailing Sign Up; Questions & Answers and open forum to hear patrons' suggestions
7:30pm-8:00pm- Open Reception (food and soft drinks to be provided)
