The Miss Black USA Pageant Celebrates the Illuminated Diversity, Culture and Intellect of Fifty Women Across The Country
Miami-FL- August 2003-The star-studded Miss Black USA Pageant will be staged on Saturday, August 23, 2003 at 8pm at the New Radisson Miami Hotel - 1601 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, Florida. The pageant recognizes and showcases phenomenal young African-American women between the ages of 18-27 who demonstrate exceptional talent, leadership, achievement, intellect, and grace. Aside from celebrating the many images of African-American excellence, this auspicious occasion will include star-studded celebrity participation from the urban R&B recording artist Jahiem; ultra soulful lyrical interpreter of song Phil Perry; balladeer vocalist Howard Hewitt, the queen of inspirational soul Ann Nesby. The host of the evening is the distinguished founder of EUR Web and the Nationally Syndicated Radio Scope show, Lee Bailey. In addition an Afro-Caribbean Cuban Night, Talent Preliminaries, Celebrity Pool Party, Celebrity Golf Tournament and the State of Black Women Address will also take place in sunny Miami.
The Miss Black USA Organization’s mission is to identify, develop and promote national leadership within the African-American community among women 18-27 years of age. The winner of the Miss Black USA Pageant will receive the Miss Black USA title, a scholarship, diamond watch, clothing wardrobe, and a year supply of beauty products, management contract with celebrity Publicist, TRI, and other various prizes.
